Opportunity for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships in the exciting world of commercial TV, Wifi, and information & engagement into the Healthcare Sector including the NHS, Private Hospitals and Care Homes. Remote within 1 hour of London Some IT/ technical knowledge is sought for systems scope and for online demonstrations/ solutions. Experience selling solutions to the healthcare sector would be ideal.

Remote within 1hr of London. Office is based in West Sussex.

Travel required to client sites across the UK and potentially Europe

In this role you will work closely with the leading supplier of patient engagement systems for the NHS. You will be responsible for driving sales of patient engagement solutions to public and private healthcare.

Key skills and experience sought:

  • Stable and proven background within technical sales and business development
  • Good IT/ Technical knowledge sought to scope/ discuss technical solutions
  • Experience selling solutions in Healthcare (NHS and private) or similar CAPEX and OPEX sales.
  • Good knowledge of complimentary healthcare hardware desirable
  • Understanding and delivery of both Tender & Framework processes.
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Capability to host and execute on-line demonstrations of solutions.
  • Finance experience desirable (but not essential)
  • Proactively develop the company’s website material and key messages with strong collaboration with the Groups Head of Marketing.
  • Good with Social Media
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel, CRM, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Effective communicator – verbal and written with excellent attention to detail.
  • Presentable and credible to internal and external customers
  • Flexibility of time to accommodate travel requirements.

InfluxDB Engineer

Role Summary We have an exciting new, predominantly remote, contract opportunity with a key Energy provider, as an InfluxDB Engineer. The role will be an initial 6-month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to support the design, development and rollout of an InfluxDB solution to support their future business requirements, heavily focused on data capture, integration and future analysis to drive operational improvements and business efficiency.

Role Summary

We have an exciting new, predominantly remote, contract opportunity with a key Energy provider, as an InfluxDB Engineer.

The role will be an initial 6-month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to support the design, development and rollout of an InfluxDB solution to support their future business requirements, heavily focused on data capture, integration and future analysis to drive operational improvements and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To technically lead the delivery of the InfluxDB solution to our client.
  • To provide support and consultancy advise to the client in terms of technical best practice.
  • Identification of innovative solutions in Industry 4.0 environments for our client
  • Collaborating with client to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into solution requirements
  • Technically planning and managing the implementation of the InfluxDB solution
  • Overseeing all stages of solution creation including design and development
  • Developing user stories – to support all development and integration requirements
  • Monitoring and evaluating solution progress at each stage of the process
  • Supporting and mentoring the development team
  • Regular communication with internal partners and customers
  • Strong experience in delivery projects in Agile or Waterfall
  • Creating and confidently delivering technical presentations internally and externally
  • Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the client
  • Promote technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm

Key Capabilities:

  • Excellent understanding and proven experience in the design and implementation of InfluxDB solutions.
  • Good understanding of industrial technologies from Automation, Communications & Networking, Data collection, storage, and analysis to IoT and Cloud.
  • Skilled in technical problem solving within the operational technology environments
  • Able to solve technical problems in the areas of data collection, management, governance, and integration
  • Proficient in Operational Systems Data
  • Proficient in OT/IT convergence assessment and design
  • Able to support OT development and delivery (agile and waterfall)

Key Technologies:

  • Excellent understanding and proven experience in the design and implementation of InfluxDB solutions.
  • Solid understand and experience in using key technologies to help define, manage, and deliver the programme workflow; Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
  • Demonstrable experience of Industry 4.0 technology stack

Candidate Profile:

  • Successfully completed technical degree (bachelor, Master, Diploma, e.g., Systems Engineer or a comparable qualification with relevant experience in Industrial IT/Industry 4.-/IoT
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall working methods
  • Strong experience in Industry 4.0 solutions within industrial environments
  • Communication and team skills
  • Structured and analytical way of working
  • Confident appearance in an international environment
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly
  • Full drivers’ licence and willingness to travel
