Key Responsibilities

  • Support Phase 1b reviews for new bids (bid / no bid).

  • Create SoWs for each new task to support the ERF exercise.

Qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline is desirable with 5 years experience working in a systems engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key project personnel to become the supply Chain ‘Point of Contact’ for the project teams.To attend key Project lifecyle ‘gate reviews’ and other review meeting as deemed appropriate.
  • Develops and applies procurement processes within E&ES to source services and goods, for both routine purchases and those requiring an element of contract management.
  • Works with other functional representatives and/or customers and suppliers to meet operational needs of line management and the business, and to ensure that quality, cost and delivery considerations are factored into procurement decisions
  • Supports the development and implementation of supplier management plans for key/Strategic suppliers including partnering strategies, risk and opportunity management and stakeholder management.

The role will be an initial 24-month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to work within the Maritime sector of a major defence company, working on cutting edge projects supporting the UK’s Naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is gathered to allow for effective planning activities.
  • Undertake low level planning tasks using pre-existing libraries in both CR and Work Package format.
  • Ensure all pre-requisites are met to allow Service Orders to be progressed through relevant sign off points. This includes ensuring all service orders are completed with relevant details e.g. locations, recordable flag etc.
  • Create work packs ready for production this includes but not limited to printing drawings documents, reference material etc.
  • Confirm work instructions have the correct pre-requisites to complete the task with all correct document references including clear instructions.
