Systems Architect

Role Summary

We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Christchurch as a Systems Architect.

The role will be an initial 12 month contract and will provide you with provide you with opportunities to work closely with customers and helping to partner, design, deliver and support solutions that not only sustain an existing portfolio of products and services for our users but importantly continue to push the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of MoD needs and requirements, working closely when required
  • Undertaking research and study activities to identify candidate solutions
  • Undertake and guide experimentation and derricking activities with other engineers
  • Support the development of estimates for full production and delivery of solutions
  • Bidding, development and implementation of solutions
  • Naturally work to high standards within budget and estimates

  • Bid and deliver our customer commitments
  • You must have the technical ability, aptitude and confidence in this customer facing role
  • The ability to take ownership of requirements, provide support to bidding activities
  • Use your knowledge and experience to help estimate activities.
  • This demanding role will naturally encourage you to seek out new ways of working, exploit emerging tools and technologies and turn great ideas into new products and solutions.
  • Within our Defence Information business, we work closely with our customer to ensure that our customers’ needs are achieved, responding with the cutting edge solutions on time and within budget.

Location: Christchurch

Rate: £59.12 per hour (INSIDE IR35)
