SENIOR PLANNING, MONITORING & CONTROL PROFESSIONAL
Role Summary
We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Barrow as a Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional.
The role will be an initial 6 month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to advise & challenge areas on risk exposure vs risk provision to the schedule and cost flagging anomalies.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance of inputs submitted for and management of change control through the review cycle for Area
- Undertaking of standard CRA / SRA modelling with support / guidance including basic analysis
- Key liaison point for the risk management issues within area
- Consolidation of MDAL, risk register and opportunity register within area
- Analysing the impact of risk and opportunity on HOPs / Delivery Directorate risk provision (budgets);
- Assessing the impact of risk budget against risk exposure (forecast) and assessing the rate of drawdown against risk provision (budgets)
- Providing recommendations to HOPs, CAMs, DD and PMO based on EAC output
- Attend EAC programme reviews representing and presenting risk / opportunity alongside the HOPs / DD for their area
- Provision of risk inputs and associated analysis with context of Area to EAC and FCAC submission
- Governance and Interpretation of models as required
- Analysing and Interpreting profiles within HOPs / Delivery Directorate.
- Undertake business area administrator duties as required.
Periodic Reporting
- Co-ordinate and carry out analyses of risk inputs
- Identification of key points / issues to seniors for use in decisionmaking
- Articulating narrative within reporting packs
- Governance of reporting packs
- Support seniors in analysis & reporting of integrated view across HOP, Delivery Directorate for risk
- Analysis, interpretation and recommendations of risk impact across wider programme.
Key skills & qualifications
- Expert ARM knowledge including governance of data within Area
- Experienced in team management and leadership
- Ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders in the business and customer base
- Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills including presenting, influencing and coaching upwards to senior management
- Extensive Risk management experience
- Exposure of PM Delivery (Desirable)
- Exposure of working with other project controls areas i.e. change, EV, Cost etc
- Experience of working with the customer / client / counterpart
- Analytical skills

Locaton: Barrow
Rate: £70.69 per hour (Inside IR35)
