Role Summary
We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Preston as a Process Improvement Professional.
The role will be an initial 3 month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to lead the delivery of process improvement projects to optimise operational effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of larger scale, complex process improvement projects to drive efficiency and improved stakeholder satisfaction
- Support the Head of Process Improvement in identifying project stakeholders and define project scope
- Plan and lead workshops with stakeholders at all levels for requirements and business process capture and documentation
- Develop and maintain project schedules to enable consistent tracking and reporting
- Leverage best practice application of BPMN skills and toolsets, applying Lean methodologies to support implementation of process improvements
- Ensure consistency of approach across Lean Process Improvement team, and support junior members of the team to develop their capability
- Lead the continuous improvement of processes and practices.
- Develop and own structured documentation and governance of process improvements.
- Support the Head of Process Improvement with identification of potential risks and issues, and input into development of plans to mitigate and manage through to resolution.
- Lead on the identification of cross-functional improvements, and work with the business analysts/lead process improvement analysts to document requirements and plan for delivery.
Key skills & qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of BPMN (Business Process Modelling and Notation)
- Demonstrable experience of advanced Problem Analysis and Problem Solving methodologies
- Ability to evaluate complex/dynamic situations using multiple sources of information
- Ability to implement process improvements, identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

Rate: £63.00 per hour (INSIDE IR35)
