Planning Analytics Developer

Role Summary

We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Portsmouth as a Planning Analytics Developer.

The role will be an initial 6-month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to work for our client in the Defence industry, supporting and enhancing planning analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and contributing with Project Teams delivering and enhancing Planning Analytics
  • Working with Business Teams in day to day business as usual activities, as well as taking ownership of key development modules
  • Follow established best practises and development methodologies
  • Design and specification of new Planning Analytics applications based on business requirements, some of which will be self-acquired
  • Support in dimension management, metadata design/maintenance, interface development and data validation processes
  • Design and deliver training across multiple sites in the UK

Key skills & qualifications

  • At least 3-5 Years’ experience building TM1/ Planning Analytics solutions from scratch using Architect, Perspectives and Planning Analytics Workspace
  • Excellent understanding of Planning Analytics, in particular Turbo Integrator, rules, feeders, security and performance
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer skills for BAU
  • Experience in delivering complex TM1 Solutions to tight timescales
  • Experience of working in an Agile Methodology a distinct advantage
  • Experience of working with SAP S/4 HANA desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working with Finance stakeholders, especially around Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting
