Maritime Systems Engineer: Maritime, MOD, Systems Engineer
Our client are a global leader in the defence sector with an opportunity for a Maritime Systems Engineer working out of their offices in Havant, Hampshire.
To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced within Maritime within military/ defence contractors.
In the role you will assist with technical planning, systems integration, verification & validation, cost & risk, and supportability of systems and solutions for the military maritime sector.
You must be eligible for SC level clearance for this role.
Experience sought:
- Experienced within design, implementation, integration, test and acceptance of Maritime Navigation, Sensor and Electronic Warfare Systems
- Customer focused and able to manager Customer requirements to derive System & Sub-System specifications
- System design activities, documentation and preparation/presentation of technical Design Reviews
- Coordinate and support Technical Interchange and Working Group meetings
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience of Defence Standards
