IT Service Desk Analyst: 1st/2nd Line, 1st Line, First Line, helpdesk, First level, 1st Level, Windows, AD, O365, Citrix, VMWare, SCCM, Printers, connectivity

Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to join this global organisation providing IT support to their staff in the EMEA region on a 12 month FTC basis initially – there is good potential for the role to become permanent.

  • You will need around 2+ years experience within an IT Service desk role working in a busy environment.
  • Must drive and have your own transport
  • The company offer excellent training and development opportunities
  • Currently mix of home working and office on a rota basis due to covid
  • Outside of covid you will take part in an on call rota on a 1 in 5/6 week scenario (call levels are very low)

Key skills and experience sought:

  • Proven background in IT service desk support around 2+ years
  • Good troubleshooting skills ideally covering Windows, AD, Exchange, O365, Citrix, VMWare, laptops, printers, connectivity issues
  • Experience with SCCM or similar remote deployment tools
  • Well motivated individual happy to assist as required
  • Good problem solving skills
  • First class communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with end users and keep them updated – customer service orientation
  • Ideally ITIL certified or experience within ITIL based corporate environments and knowledge of SOX ideal but not essential
  • Good team working skills
