We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Glascoed as a Energetics Technician.
The role will be an initial 6 month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to facilitate research and production support programmes across a diverse range of materials.
Reporting all hazards, near misses and accidents on OSHENS software.
Co-operating with OSHENS investigations where required.
Conducting the practical work required of the project, including the suitable handling of energetic materials and operation of processing equipment and instrumentation.
Ensuring that material inventories are controlled by liaising with PM and resource controllers.
Conducting tests & trials, collecting and accurately recording data.
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping across the teams facilities in support of safety and quality.
- Ensuring the progression and timely completion of nominated projects
Key skills & qualifications
Logging ideas and innovations on Innovation Portal
Identifying continuous improvement activities to line management
Identify proposals for new projects in the E&MT / PV / CoEEM portfolios via line management
