eCommerce Systems Analyst/ Systems Engineer
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Analyst/ Systems Engineer with a background in eCommerce/ online retail tools and technologies with a successful, growing online brand retailer.
- Hybrid/ remote role – min 1 day per month at their Headquarters on the Hampshire/ Dorset border and ideally team meetups in London
In this role you will be hands on in scaling, optimising and managing the organization’s key integrated SaaS systems that are instrumental in the smooth running of the business. Understanding of SaaS no/ low code solutions, integration, API’s/ Data for smooth interoperability will be needed and scripting skills ideal.
Experience within ecommerce/ online retail/ omnichannel retail is sought with understanding of ERP, Order Management, Product Information Management Systems, etc sought.

Key responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, test, manage, maintain and monitor all platform systems and infrastructure (including ERP, PIM, OMS, Storefronts etc)
- Participate in the procurement and/or implementation of new software and systems.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems interoperability, data cohesion and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and assess system performance; identify possible solutions and work with stakeholders to implement solutions. Iteratively improve the system towards an agreed vision of the future state.
- Write and maintain scripts to customise SaaS platforms/integrations that maximise operational efficiency and system performance.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to the wider team and on-call emergency support for mission critical systems
Key experience sought:
- Training within Computer Science – systems engineering/ application development or comparable education or experience
- Proven experience within eCommerce/ online retail/ omnichannel retail with knowledge of ERP, Order Management, Product Information Management Systems
- Understanding of data structures, JSON/SQL/RDBMS/ API– able to read API documents, assess system capabilities and interoperability with systems.
- Competent with spreadsheets/ Google Sheets/ Excel
- Passion for/ advocate of No/ low code SaaS tools e.g. experience with Brightpearl, AirTable, Make (or similar ideally sought.
- Scripting capability ideal – or ability to pickup (e.g. Python/ JavaScript etc).
- Issue/ Incident Management and resolution experience
- Experience testing and deploying new technologies within a business.
- Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
