Electrical process Planner

Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that the original design intent is met in the finished product. The Electric Manufacturing Engineer will ensure all design intent is translated to the as manufactured delivery via the use of CAD models, drawings, material and manufacturing process specifications

The role is related to supporting / influencing the design from a manufacturing perspective, ensuring it is producible, generating Manufacturing Engineering content in order to produce looms and / or the installation of looms / equipment into the assembled airframe

The Role will review / endorsement (on behalf of Manufacturing Engineering) of design data related to Series 1’s / 2 ‘s and routing and clipping information with the conversion of this data into the build sequence and method of manufacture as part of the Manufacturing Engineering process. Therefore documenting the optimum manufacturing methods in written and/or pictorial instructions with due regard to cost and quality.

This is achieved by providing a documented, safe, capable, method which will dictate the sequence of manufacturing including any tooling/equipment required. They are also responsible for the execution of Standard Time Values (e.g. MOST timing), manipulation of the EBOM (design) into creation of MBOMs (manufacture sequence) reconcilable to the Design intent, including inspection stages, quality records, electrical wiring test.

Experience

Electrical Manufacturing Engineering background Fast jet preferably (aerospace related or equivalent industry)
