Role Summary
We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Preston as a Business Architect.
The role will be an initial 12 month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to document, using a structured approach, the programme goals, capabilities, processes, services, data, organisation and high level IMT solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the programme level business architecture by engaging with the workstreams to capture/ document as is and target state for goals, capabilities, processes, services, data and organisation
- Act as liaison between the workstreams and the recruitment transformation IM&T lead to enable the definition of, at a high level, the IM&T solution that underpins the business architecture.
- Working with the IM&T lead, support the definition of requirements for individual IM&T solutions.
- Incorporating the insights of customers, line employees and managers to ensure their unique needs are accommodated.
- Define the IM&T capability roadmap to show how recruitment will transition from current to target state including the key milestones (contract changes, IM&T go-live, org changes etc.) and their impact on KPIs goals, capabilities, processes, services, data, organisation and IM&T.
- Engaging subject matter experts throughout L&IS and the customer’s organization in the solution process.
- Coordinating and sequencing their solutions to remove conflicts.
- Generating necessary documentation; packaging and translating it into terms each audience can understand and embrace
- Liaise with Business Analysts to facilitate requirements capture in accordance with the project specific functional model.
- Liaise with Solution Architects to facilitate the development of a detailed solution architecture in accordance with the project specific functional model.
Key skills & qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Very good written and oral communication skills.
- 7-10 years experience of business analysis / architecture
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven knowledge and experience of working within architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman
- Proven experience in developing business architecture plans and roadmaps.
- Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis

Rate: £615.00 per day (INSIDE IR35)
